A Sense of Place: cellos, poetry and conversation

Rhapsode Guild presents A Sense of Place: cellos, poetry and conversation with cellists Daniel Saenz and Adrian Tellez in a concert of duets inspired by local color and changes of season and landscape.  Compositions by Stephen Yip, B. P. Herrington and George Heathco. Poetry reading led by  Katherine McDaniel (founder and director of Synkroniciti).    

Travel from the Southern Gothic aesthetic of the Piney Woods to evocations of seasonal colors in haiku, to the dizzying turns of an amusement park ride.  Includes Q&A session on the adventurous cello techniques you will hear.
