Rhapsode Guild Young Artist Program empowers young composers, performers, actors, writers, dancers and visual artists and other interdisciplinary artists throughout the Greater Houston area by giving them an opportunity to develop and showcase their work through our collaborative workshop model.

 

Our Rhapsode Guild Young Artist program serves a range of young artists including:

• High school students (including those who have not had access to enrichment programs or mentoring)

• Community college students (including those in small programs)

• Undergraduate university students seeking collaboration with fellow artists in the Houston area

• Recent graduates of undergraduate programs now seeking professional development

​Rhapsode Guild Young Artists will have access to:

• Workshops in creative process and improvisation

• Project-specific workshops in which collaborative teams of young artists create new works in live music-drama and theatrically-conceived interdisciplinary pieces

• Mentoring from Rhapsode Guild affiliate artists

• Inclusion on Rhapsode Guild concerts and activities
